When I looked for a chain for my wearable sculptures, "Dear to My Heart" pendants, my goal was to find a simple, yet strong, chain that complimented the texture of my work without competing with it. With that in mind, I chose to "frame" my work with this 2mm. sensuous serpent chain and then, I combined it with this toggle clasp for a custom touch! This combination became "Joy's Favorite Chain." You'll like the feel of the clasp; it is smooth to the touch and easy to use. Each is crafted by hand, one at a time, in the length of your choice: 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 or 32 inches.
I created the adjustable chain that can vary in length by up to 5" so the chain adjustments are always hidden behind your neck. Examples: 16-18-21" or 18-20-22" or, 20-22½ - 25½" as I designed mine. To determine the lengths you prefer, slide a string through the loop on your pendant(s), try them with various necklines, measure the lengths and let me know the lengths that you find most useful for you. The necklace can be made to your custom requirements.
