Persons often ask about patina colors. In an effort to help, below are several pictures of different patinas that are available. Keep in mind that patinas are hand applied and every monitor is different, so what you see is not always what you get! That said, these images will give you an idea of what to expect. Although these patinas are protected you may expect the patinas to become darker with age, especially with the lighter ones. Also, the one called Toad, is much more subtle and pretty than what shows in a well lit photograph. These colors are essentially for the 1:6 scale miniatures. In my experience, only Toad transfers well and may be special ordered for larger pieces. I'm sure there will still be discussion about patinas, but I hope this helps. Thank you for your interest.
